We exist to equip God's people to delight in His glory and declare that glory to our neighbors and the nations. This statement may be understood in three categories of relationships: our relationship to other Christians, our relationship to God, and our relationship to the world. The three verbs in our purpose statement (equip, delight, and declare) directly correlate with these three relationships. Thus, when we speak of "ministry" at Redeemer, we think in terms of relationships, rather than simply tasks.

These relationships also give us a sense of the direction in which we're to reach. "Equipping God's people" means inreach into the lives of other believers as we seek to live in covenant community carrying out the "one another" commands of Scripture. "Delighting in God's glory" involves the worship of our Triune God - an upreach motion of God's people as we seek to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. "Declaring His glory to our neighbors and the nations" involves an outreach motion as we seek to obey Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our goal is that the various ministries of Redeemer Church would do just that: reach out in every direction and every relationship. It is our prayer that the Lord Jesus Christ would find us faithfully and actively loving Him, serving one another, and reaching out to the lost world with His Gospel as we anxiously await His return. We invite you to join us in this mission.
